Lost water: the billions of liters wasted due to leaks in Mexico
Drinking water leaks are not the only cause of scarcity, but they are the symptom of a deteriorating hydraulic infrastructure. Every year, a minimum average of 600,000 leaks are reported. In municipalities such as Ecatepec, care is not enough to repair even half of it.
